Toyota comes with a new SUV. Coming in size and price below the Fortuner, the vehicle will have a sporty look. It is believed that the vehicle built on a ladder frame chassis will be a smaller version of the Fortuner. It is expected that the vehicle, which will be launched in Thailand this year, will also reach the Indian market.
The new vehicle will be on the IMV 0 platform. The vehicle will be named FJ, taking inspiration from Toyota’s legendary model FJ Cruiser. The new vehicle can be expected to look similar to the Hilux Champ and the soon-to-be-launched small off-roader Land Hooper.
The new SUV will have the same 2750 mm wheelbase as the Crista and Fortuner. The vehicle will have 2.4 liter and 2.8 liter diesel engines and 2.7 liter petrol engine. Fans are hoping that the Mini Fortuner will come to India as Toyota has abandoned the plan for a C SUV that was considered for the Indian market.
