No terror camps in Pakistan Minister claims
[ad_1]
According to Yalda Hakim, a Sky News presenter, Pakistan’s Information Minister, Fawad Chaudhry’s statement that Pakistan does not have terrorist camps and is a victim of terrorism is not true. She pointed out that the Indian Army stated they targeted terrorist camps in Pakistan and not Pakistani military camps. The Indian Army claimed to have carried out operations in nine terrorist camps in Pakistan, including the stronghold of the militant group Jaish-e-Mohammed in Bahawalpur and the headquarters of Lashkar-e-Taiba in Muridke.

Hakim also contradicted Chaudhry’s claim that Pakistan is a victim of terrorism by citing previous statements made by Pakistani leaders. She mentioned that a week ago, Pakistan’s Defense Minister stated that the government was promoting terrorism against India, and that former President Pervez Musharraf and former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto had also admitted to similar claims in the past. Hakim argued that Chaudhry’s statement is a denial of the facts presented by his own government and leaders.

Chaudhry had claimed that Pakistan is a wall between terrorism and the world and that they are always on the side of peace. He invited Hakim to visit Pakistan to see the reality for herself. Hakim responded by saying that she has visited Pakistan before and recalled that Osama bin Laden was killed in Abbottabad, Pakistan, in 2011 by US soldiers.

In summary, Yalda Hakim disputed Pakistan’s Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry’s claim that Pakistan does not have terrorist camps and is a victim of terrorism. She cited statements from Indian Army and previous Pakistani leaders to contradict Chaudhry’s statement and argued that Pakistan has been involved in promoting terrorism. Chaudhry had claimed that Pakistan is a wall against terrorism and invited Hakim to visit Pakistan, but she reminded him that she has visited before and that Osama bin Laden was killed in Pakistan.
