The Horrific Terrorist Attack on Pulwama: A Sad Event That Horrifyingly Impacted India 14 February 2019 to 14 February 2023

It is now over 6 years since the horrendous Pulwama Assault that put the entire country in shock for days and fueled endless rage. A terrorist attack on a convoy of CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) fighters in Pulwama, Jammu, and Kashmir claimed forty lives in 2019.

One of the worst attacks perpetrated by a pakistan based terrorist group, this was a shocking and deeply troubling event that impacted billions. As the news spread across the nation, everyone was in utter disbelief and frustration.

As I reflect on the valiant sacrifices of my fellow comrades, there lie my thoughts on how when duty calls, these soldiers do not hesitate a single moment when answering it. My thoughts are also led back to these heroes around the world and remind me of how I walk in this nation devoid of fear.

The sheer horror of the Pulwama attack once again emphatically taught the citizens that there still exists a need for an ongoing struggle with terrorism and to take more strict measures to ensure the safety of it’s citizens.

We should pause for a moment in contemplation, paying homage to the jawans who sacrificed their lives during the Pulwama incident, as a tribute let us renew our pledge towards establishing peace, security, and progress in our nation.
