Washington: US President Joe Biden told Israel not to use humanitarian aid to Gaza as a bargaining chip. Aid should be allowed to go to Gaza. Biden also suggested to ensure that the volunteers are not injured in the shooting.
Biden also announced that the US military has been instructed to establish a temporary system on the Mediterranean coast to provide aid to Gaza. Biden said that through this, more food, water and medicine can be given to Gaza.
Israel has a primary duty to protect civilians in Gaza. Biden also claimed he was working tirelessly for a six-week ceasefire and the release of hostages.
There has been widespread criticism of US President Joe Biden’s stance on Israel’s occupation of Gaza. The US took the position of vetoing the UN Security Council’s resolution whenever it asked for a cease-fire in Gaza.
