Innovations Unveiled at India Mobility Expo

 The second day of the India Mobility Expo in New Delhi showcased a variety of new vehicles from different brands at Pragati Maidan. The event featured an impressive display of vehicle components, including launches of super bikes, cars, buses, and ambulances, along with cutting-edge mobility solutions and the latest parts and technology.


International vehicle manufacturers were prominent on the second day, unveiling several new models and concept vehicles. Those included electric three-wheelers and micro-vehicles, besides new electric cars which appear to point to the future of more sustainable mobility solutions. Hyundai debuted the new Fast Track SUV models, while BMW showcased their Mini Cooper variants and other motorcycles. The event saw the release of several advanced models by JSW, hinting at premium SUVs such as the BMW X5, BMW X7, and the BMW Adventure series.


A wide variety of hybrid and electric vehicles on display included plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) and hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) along with advanced internal combustion engine (ICE) models. Electric buses, trucks, and small commercial vehicles showed India's potential in the growing market for electric vehicles. The Chinese brand BYD announced its latest electric cars, one of which was the SeaLion, marking the fourth car in their Indian lineup. Besides this, new electric buses unveiled by JB Motors and other technologically advanced electric vehicles by different companies marked their presence in the EV sector.


The India Mobility Expo also witnessed the unveil of several ambulances showcasing extensive medical emergency services capabilities. Some of the new models included ultra-modern versions of ambulances like Neonatal Ambulances and Neuromotor Ambulances, which cater to multi-purpose services. The country's first Bike-Scooter Crossover platform is another significant unveiling. It brings a new level of versatility to two-wheeled electric mobility.


Veem Mobility launched the first solar-powered electric car in India, priced at an introductory rate of Rs. 1 lakh ex-showroom. Besides, several electric mobility solutions, including solar-powered electric bikes and scooters, were unveiled. The Expo also showcased cutting-edge automotive solutions like the TrackMaster wheel alignment system and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) for cars.


The event, held at the Pragati Maidan, attracted industry professionals, media, and dealers, with the first two days being exclusive to them. Starting from Sunday, the Expo will open to the public, offering a chance for visitors to explore a wide range of vehicles, new mobility technologies, and solutions for energy-efficient transportation. The India Mobility Expo serves as a crucial platform to showcase innovations that will shape the future of the country's automotive sector.
