Kerala’s companies are gaining significant recognition for their technical expertise, particularly at global events like the Bharat Mobility Global Expo held in Delhi. Organized by the Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC), the "Invest Kerala" pavilion showcased the state’s rising prominence in automotive technology, positioning itself as a hub for world-class vehicle technology.
The Kerala pavilion, covering 30 square meters, housed prominent companies in the industry, including Axia Technologies, Highcone India, and ChargeMod. These companies are leaders in various areas, such as AI, machine learning, and EV innovation. The showcase included some of the latest innovations, including electric drivetrains, battery energy storage systems, lithium-ion batteries, and electric vehicle charging systems.
Paxia Technologies is one of the pavilion's highlights, developing AI-powered systems for designing digital cockpit solutions, e-mobility, and telematics. It was here that a software developed by this company, called Leela Copilot, generates software flaws and helps engineers predict them. These solutions showcased Kerala's best capabilities for the integration of AI with automotive technology.
The next attraction was ChargeMod, from Kerala. The company is revolutionizing electric vehicle charging by providing fast-charging units and an extensive network of charging stations across the state. With a mobile application that allows users to locate nearby charging stations, ChargeMod is helping expand the electric vehicle ecosystem in India. Their network of stations contains over one thousand charging stations and is likely to grow much further as they work towards making Kerala a forerunner in sustainable, eco-friendly transport.
Furthermore, Highcone India, a prominent player in the field, is showcasing its electric vehicle drive systems and various motor controller innovations that are key to advancing EV technology. These companies are contributing to reducing carbon emissions from the transportation sector, offering solutions to reduce the environmental impact of conventional vehicles.
The "Invest Kerala" pavilion not only highlighted the state’s technological strengths but also drew attention to its young, skilled workforce eager to push the envelope in global automotive innovations. This effort is supported by the state government, which continues to foster partnerships with international and national companies in this sector.
By hosting such initiatives, Kerala is poised to lead the charge in electric mobility and sustainable vehicle technologies. Kerala’s proactive approach in developing green technologies, coupled with strong industry-government collaboration, ensures that the state is on track to shape the future of transportation in India and beyond.
The Kerala Mobility Expo is part of a broader strategy by the Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC) to position the state as a leader in advanced automotive technologies. The upcoming events and conferences, particularly the Kerala Automotive Technology Expo in February, aim to further cement Kerala’s position as a key player in the global automotive industry.
