Arun Vincent, a native of the Malayalam community of the UK, recently passed away after a struggle with illness. Arun belonged to Iringalakkuda in Thrissur, Kerala. He was a resident of the UK for several years. His family included his wife and children, all of whom actively participated in community activities and also played active roles in various social activities.
The members of the Wiltshire Malayalam Association, where Arun was closely associated, came forward to pay their tributes. A public meeting was arranged at North Swindon at Holy Family Church for the memorial service. The occasion was conducted by several church leaders including Father Basil Ben Marotti and a special mass was held in memory of Arun.
Several community leaders attended the service, including the president of the Wiltshire Malayalam Association, Gigi Saji, and local dignitaries. People from different religious and cultural backgrounds attended the memorial, which showed the diverse and supportive nature of the community.
Arun had traveled to the UK after attending a family wedding back home in Kerala. His sudden illness led to his passing, leaving his family in mourning. The memorial was a heartfelt tribute to his life and contributions to the community. Various members of the church, including Bishop Abraham Mark Stepanos and others, offered prayers for the family during this difficult time.
After the service, condoning words were sent by all the people there to Arun's family. The Secretary of Wiltshire Malayalam Association, Shibin Varghese and others from the community, including media coordinator Rajesh Natepally facilitated the gathering to ensure it was conducted without any issues.
The gathering was a reflection of unity and care within the community, and people from different walks of life came together to show tributes to Arun. The association continues to support the Vincent family in this time of bereavement.
