**Wedding Video Scam: Woman Arrested Following Complaints from Over 200 Victims**

A woman has been arrested in connection with a wedding video scam after defrauding over 200 couples. The arrest followed multiple complaints from couples who had paid in advance for videography services, only to find the woman failing to deliver on their wedding day.
The 34-year-old woman from Kent has been charged with fraud, theft, and related offenses. She reportedly informed several clients that she would be unable to provide the agreed videography service on the wedding day after receiving advance payments. In some cases, couples had to wait for up to three years to receive their wedding videos.
One complainant shared her experience: “We had hired her for a full-day wedding video shoot and paid in advance to get a 10% discount. We had seen several accusations about her on social media, but I didn’t believe them at the time. When I contacted her, she assured me she would arrive by July 6. I trusted her words, but on the morning of the wedding, I received an email saying she could not make it. It was the most important day of my life, and she didn’t show up. It was heartbreaking. Without a videographer, we were unable to fully capture the ceremony on film. Thankfully, my photographer had a spare camera, and he managed to capture some highlights of the day, like the first dance. I am so grateful to him.”
Shania Stanton, another victim, shared her frustration: "It was a huge setback for us. We had paid £600 in advance. We wondered if they had any special privilege that caused them not to show up. They never even apologized. They promised to return the money within 28 days, but we’ve heard nothing since."
The woman now faces legal consequences for her actions as investigations into the scam continue.
