Apple's Move: New Chipset to Revive Mac Sales

Mac sales

Washington: Apple has started moves to overcome the setback in computer sales. Apple's goal is to capture the market with a new chipset in all Mac models. Mac models with the M3 chip hit the market five months ago. Rumors of Mac models coming with the M4 chipset are now coming out of the tech world.

Three variants of the M4 will be used in Apple Mac models. All Mac models will have the same M4 chipset. The new chipset is also rumored to utilize the potential of artificial intelligence.

In the last financial year, Mac sales have declined. A 27 percent decline was recorded. Apple did not get much revenue from computer sales. Then came the Mac series with M3 chipset. However, compared to the previous M2 chip, the performance of the M3 was not significantly increased. This was also a setback for Apple

Apple is lagging behind companies like Microsoft Corp. and Google's Alphabet when it comes to artificial intelligence. Apple aims to overcome this with the new chipset.

Apple will release the Mac series with the new chipset later this year or early next year. Apple will reportedly launch new iMacs and 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros. The news is that Apple will give more importance to artificial intelligence not only in the Mac but also in the iPhone that will be released this year.
