Electric scooter maker Ola Electric Technologies Pvt Ltd has made a habit of breaking sales records. Ola's progress has set a record in sales for the fifth month in a row. Last March, Ola sold more than 53,000 electric scooters. Ola sold 3,28,785 scooters in this financial year, a growth of 115 percent compared to the previous year (1,52,741).

Ola is trying to maintain its upper hand in the Indian electric scooter market. Ola is introducing not only new models but also new plans for its customers. One of these is the decision to offer a warranty of 80,000 km or eight years (whichever comes first) on all scooters at no extra charge. Ola customers can also extend the warranty up to 1,25,000 km by paying Rs 4,999.

Recently Ola released its MoveOS 4 software update with more features. The new update has the facility to locate scooters through the Ola Electric app. There are also innovations in navigation. Other important features are geofencing and time fencing. Time fencing allows owners to set limits on how much scooters can be driven. Owners can decide where and in what modes their scooter can be driven. Even if someone else goes with the Ola scooter, the Ola owners will have control over the riding mode.
