Taiwan Responds to China's Criticism

Taiwan

Beijing: After China protested the publication of Taiwan's foreign minister's interview by Indian media, Taiwan also reacted to this issue. Taiwan has responded that they are nobody's puppets.

Taiwan and India have independent and unregulated media systems. China should be concerned about its own country's economic collapse. Taiwan also stated that China should not criticize neighboring countries.

China issued a statement against the interview on February 29. Some Indian media published an interview with Taiwan Foreign Minister Joseph Wu. What the Indian media did was to give them an opportunity to spread some false information about Taiwan independence. They stated that this is against the One China principle and cannot be accepted.

China states that there is only one China in the world and Taiwan is a part of it. Part of this is China's One China policy.

Neither #India Nor #Taiwan is part of the #PRC & we're not its puppets. We're both democracies with free & vibrant presses that can't be dictated to. #Beijing should worry about its own economic slump, not bullying its neighbors. JW https://t.co/qYRZiYClUE
