Toyota's Fronz, the fifth in the popular lineup, is due early next month Maruti Fronx-Based Toyota Taisor to Debut on April 3

The fifth Toyota-Suzuki collaboration vehicle, the Urban Cruiser Tysor, will be launched on April 3. The Tysor, the brand-engineered model of Maruti Suzuki Fronts, will get minor changes. Expect changes in the front and rear bumper, headlamp console, LED daytime running lamps and tail lamps.

Like the Glanza, the vehicle will be manufactured by Maruti Suzuki. The SUV Frangs, launched by Maruti Suzuki earlier this year, is based on the Baleno hatchback. Frongs are getting good response from the market.

The vehicle is powered by a 1.2 liter dual-jet dual VVT petrol engine and a 1.0 liter turbocharged Boosterjet petrol engine. The 1-litre engine produces 100bhp of power and 147.6Nm of torque while the 1.2-litre engine produces 90bhp of power and 113Nm of torque. The turbo petrol engine is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox and a six-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The 1.2-litre engine is mated to a 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox.

The vehicle is built on the Hartech platform. The vehicle also gets a heads-up display, floating 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, flat-bottom steering wheel, 360-degree camera, cruise control and six airbags.
