James Bond, the super spy: license to kill the world, high-tech gadgets, incredible intelligence. There will be those who want to engage in adventurous activities like James Bond with the code name 007. In the film, James Bond works for the fictional organization M16. But to be a real spy, to work for a real agency, what qualifications are required? What will the election be like?
Here's an opportunity to get a job as a 'super spy' at the Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ), a British intelligence security organization, posted on LinkedIn yesterday. Solving a 'visual puzzle' can overcome the initial hurdle of recruitment into the organization. This opportunity was also given to the public in connection with the LinkedIn access of GCHQ, an intelligence organization.
It gave a very head-turning, yet visually beautiful and strange picture like a painting. Hidden within the puzzle are thirteen letters that can be brought together to spell out a message. This puzzle is aimed at those who think and see differently and can bring a fresh perspective to problem solving.
Designed by artist Justin Eagleton, many people have tried to decode this puzzle. Agency officials said that such recruitment was introduced because the agency wants to reach out to individuals with insights from various backgrounds and experiences. The agency later released a solution to the puzzle that left LinkedIn users confused.
GCHQ stands for Government Communications Headquarters. Here's the gist of what they do:
