Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal owns the country's first Aston Martin DB 12. Deepinder Goyal owns an array of supercars like Porsche 911 Turbo S, Ferrari Roma and Lamborghini Urus. The latest entry to the list is the Aston Martin DB 12. In September last year, British supercar maker Aston Martin launched its GT supercar DB 12 in India. The ex-showroom price of this vehicle is Rs 4.59 crore.
Pictures of the new vehicle owned by Deepinder Goyal were circulated on social media with the caption, “Country's first Aston Martin DB 12”. The color of the vehicle delivered by Aston Martin New Delhi is Satin Aston Martin Racing Green. Goyal has opted for 21-inch alloy wheels with a diamond cut finish for the car. No other details of the vehicle are known.
The DB 12 is the successor to Aston Martin's popular model DB 11 GT supercar, but the company claims to have tried to bring about 80 percent changes in the new car. This innovation can be seen in the exterior of the vehicle as well. The highlight of the DB 12 is the new front grille design. There are also new-style head lamps with a three-piece setup. The front bumpers are the kind that are attractive at first glance. While there are plenty of new features, the DB 12 also features many elements that look similar to the DB 11.
There are many new changes in the interior of the vehicle. The highlight is the dual-tone leather interior with 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The center console has a new design and has many physical buttons. Also, digital instrument gauge cluster. Looking at the power train side of the vehicle, the DB 12 has a Mercedes-Benz sourced engine. The 4.0 liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine produces 680 PS of power and 800 Nm of torque. It is mated to an 8-speed dual clutch transmission. Coming to the performance of the vehicle, the DB 12 takes just 3.5 seconds to accelerate from zero to 100 kmph.
