Budapest: Four people died after a car went out of control and rammed into the crowd during a motorsport rally in Hungary. Several people, including two children, were injured. During the journey, the car skidded on the road and rammed into the crowd. Its video is circulating on social media.
The incident took place during the Esztergom Nyerges Rally, a two-day motor racing event in Hungary. Meanwhile, there is no confirmation as to whether the car involved in the race was involved in the accident. Eight ambulances and four helicopters were rushed to the spot for rescue operations. Racing was stopped.
Two of the injured are in critical condition. This includes a child. The injuries of six people are not serious. The Hungarian National Motorsport Association (MNASZ) expressed its condolences over the incident.
