YZD sells three models in India namely YZD Roadster, YZD Scrambler and YZD Adventure. It is suggested that YZD will launch a fourth model soon. A new video is making the rounds, further fueling those hints. Coming in a classic-modern look, the YZD model is expected to challenge the likes of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and the Hero Maverick 440.

Design

The motorcycle in the video has a modern retro design that resembles the YZD Adventure. The YZD's design hallmarks, the angular fuel tank and round headlamp, remain unchanged. Although the look is modern, it has not left the old. Head lamp and instrument cluster are simple. This bike has a compact digital display.

Single piece flat seat. The tall fender from the rear wheels is noticeable. All this is expected in the on-road model, though there are no brake lamps, indicators or number plate at the rear. The front mudguard is attached to the wheel. The vehicle gets alloy wheels and retro style Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp tyres. Overall the design of the vehicle gives a clean look.

Engine

The size of the engine in the released pictures and videos indicates the off-road capability of the vehicle. It is expected that the new model will have a 334 cc liquid cooled engine similar to that of the YZD Adventure. YSD has not released any details regarding this officially yet.

the price

The arrival of the new YZD bike is a competitor to models like Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and Hero Maverick 440. Therefore, there is a possibility that there will be similarities in the price. The Hunter 350 is priced between Rs 1.50 lakh and Rs 1.75 lakh. But the YZD bike is likely to cost more than this. No wonder if the price goes up to two lakh rupees.

Two more models

In the released video, two more motorcycles of YZD are shown. The first is the YZD Scrambler with sporting spoked wheels. It is a dual exhaust model. The model also gets a new boxy fuel tank. The second model takes the form of a traditional YZD bike. It has a tall handlebar. The YZD Roadster is said to be YZD's answer to the Royal Enfield Meteor 350. The leaked images of the roadster also show a dual-pod instrument console replacing the single pod on the current model.
