London: Israel has stopped the water filters sent by Britain for the people of Gaza who are living hell without even getting clean water. UK MP Rosena Allyn Khan said that they were stopped at the border because they were a security threat.

I asked the Government what items of UK aid for Gaza have been denied entry by the Israeli Govt. Of them were 1,350 water filters, because apparently Israel says they are a 'threat'.

Meanwhile, World Food Program (WFP) Deputy Executive Director Carl Skau has called for the opening of entry points to the famine-stricken northern Gaza as Israel continues to block UN convoys with food supplies. He said his agency would take all possible means to get food aid to starving people in northern Gaza.
“Famine has reached catastrophic levels in northern Gaza. There, children die of starvation-related diseases and face severe consequences due to malnutrition. “Israeli forces are blocking the entry of WFP's food aid convoy here,” the statement said.
