Los Angeles: At the 96th Oscar Awards ceremony held at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, Gazza was also heard. Many stars wore red badges (red pins) as part of the protest demanding a ceasefire in Gaza. The protest was led by the group 'Artists for Seafire'.

Artists for Seasfire is a public platform for actors, musicians and other artists protesting the Israeli occupation of Gaza. The coalition demands that a humanitarian ceasefire be declared in Gaza as soon as possible. They also demand that humanitarian aid be delivered to the people of Gaza.

Famous singer Billie Eilish, actor Mark Ruffalo, director Ava DuVernay, comedian Rami Youssef, actor Riz Ahmed, actor Mahershala Ali and many other stars wore red badges to the Oscar ceremony. Actors Milio Machado Garner and Swann Arlaud wore red badges and the Palestinian flag.

More than 380 stars have written a letter to President Joe Biden and world leaders demanding a ceasefire in Gaza under the leadership of the 'Artists for Ceasefire' group. Demands such as the implementation of a ceasefire, the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza and the safe release of hostages were raised. Celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Quina Branson, Jessica Chastain and Cate Blanchett have signed the statement.
