Parag Agrawal has alleged that the company has not yet paid him $128 million after he was fired as the head of Twitter. He has approached the court against the head of the company Musk. Three former Twitter executives have come forward with a case against Musk.
Former top executives at Twitter claim that Musk retaliated against them after taking control of the social media platform in 2022. They filed the complaint in federal court in Northern California on Monday. They allege that Musk promised to withhold $200 million he announced would be paid to them following his dismissal.
Several lawsuits are pending against Twitter, which Elon Musk renamed X. The company has been accused of numerous labor and workplace violations, including failing to pay thousands of workers it fired between late 2002 and early 2023.
Soon after taking over Twitter, Musk fired Agrawal and several other high-ranking executives. Vijaya Gade, who was the company's top legal and policy officer; Chief Financial Officer Ned Segal; and Twitter's general counsel Sean Edgett all lost their jobs.
