California: Californian woman arrested for stealing make-up products worth eight million dollars (66 crores). 53-year-old Michelle Mack was arrested by California authorities. She, a mother of three, stole from American department stores like Ulta, TJ Maxx and Walgreens. The initial conclusion is that the operation was carried out in Mack's luxurious San Diego mansion.

Mack hired 12 women to steal makeup products from stores in California and 10 other locations, including Texas, Florida and Ohio. The stolen products were reportedly sold at a discount on the Amazon store. Known as the California Girls, the investigation revealed that they had committed hundreds of robberies in and around California. Airfare, car and other travel expenses were all under Mac's control.

Mac had already decided which stores to target and which items to carry. Investigators also said the women were sent to clear entire shelves before taking the stolen items in bags. The police started the investigation based on the complaint filed by the California Attorney General on Friday. Then makeup items and other things were recovered from their base. The police said that they will investigate if more people are involved.
