613 km on a single charge; OLED world first in this Audi | Revolutionary Design Meets Performance: Audi Q6 e-tron's World Debut with Unique OLED Technology

After a long wait, Audi has launched the Q6 e-tron, the first car based on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE). Rich in features and performance, the Q6 Tron has another feature. The Audi 6 is the world's first vehicle to come with OLED lighting technology. The OLED lights on the back of the Audi Q6 e-tron will react to the surrounding conditions.

The first attraction of the Q6 e-tron is the platform specially made for the electric vehicle. This platform helps the Q6 e-tron offer more interior space than any other Audi EV. This platform was developed by Porsche and Audi along with the E3 electronic architecture. Comfort in the second row seats has also been enhanced with the arrival of the new platform.

After the platform, the lights are the most striking feature of the Audi Q6 e-tron. Head lights are provided below the front daytime running LEDs. The Auro head light also has 61 segments of LEDs. These headlights can illuminate in six different patterns. However, the conventional LED lights are used in the front of the Q6E Tron. The big change is at the back.

The back of the Q6 Itron is equipped with six OLED panels in 360 segments. This opens up many new design possibilities in brake lights and communication possibilities with other vehicles. This allows the Q6 to feature brake lights in different design patterns without compromising overall lighting.

Users of the Q6 e-tron can choose from eight different signature designs. OLED panels on the back of the Q6 can also warn other vehicles coming behind. Hazard symbol will be displayed on Q6's rear OLED panel if danger or something else is noticed in front. The OLED panel will also be used to show symbols during auto parking.

Coming inside, the Q6E Tron has a new digital stage panoramic screen. It comes with a 14.5-inch touchscreen display for navigation and an 11.9-inch cockpit display. There is another 10.9-inch display on the passenger side. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are supported. The Q6 eTron measures 4,771mm in length, 2,193mm in width and 1,702mm in height. The boot space is 526 litres. With the rear seats folded, the boot space increases to 1,529 litres.

The Q6 e-tron has a 100kWh lithium iron battery. This 390bhp vehicle will jump to 517bhp with launch control activated. It takes 5.9 seconds to go from zero to 100 kmph, but with the launch control activated, it becomes just 4.3 seconds. Range on a single charge is 613 km. Audi promises that it will be able to charge enough to travel 250 km in just ten minutes and will take 21 minutes from ten percent to 80 percent.
