Dubai: UAE has sent an offer of help to Ukraine. A plane fully loaded with 55 tonnes of relief and medical supplies was dispatched. This includes 360 portable electric generators, 5,000 personal laptops for educational purposes, winter clothing, blankets and medical aid.
This is part of the UAE’s ongoing efforts to alleviate and provide relief to the humanitarian consequences faced by the people of Ukraine during the current crisis. Humanitarian aid will be delivered through Poland and transferred to Ukraine.
Since the start of the Russian conflict in Ukraine, the UAE has sent emergency relief supplies to the victims of Ukraine. This includes $100 million in humanitarian aid for Ukrainian citizens. In addition, the UAE has sent aid flights to Ukrainian refugees in neighboring countries such as Poland, Moldova and Bulgaria.
