Publicly revealed at the 2023 Munich Motor Show, the Opel Experimental now arrives in Spain as the main star of the ‘Towards the future with Opel’ exhibition. This concept car will be present at the Mobility City of Zaragoza from February 1 to 15.
It was in August of last year when the lightning firm revealed to the world the Opel Experimental, a concept car created to show the world what Opel production cars will look like in the future. This prototype, in turn, was the star of the German brand’s stand at the 2023 Munich Motor Show (IAA), held between September 5 and 10.
Now, the Opel Experimental debuts in Spain and does so as the main star of the exhibition ‘Towards the future with Opel’, present at the Mobility City of Zaragoza from February 1 to 15.

According to the brand, this concept car “offers a clear vision of where the Opel brand will go in the coming years.” Its aerodynamic efficiency features, the spacious and illuminated interior with light seats and the latest generation Head-Up Display stand out.
The exterior of the Opel Experimental concept car stands out for the absence of chrome. In its place is a comprehensive exterior lighting system and graphics accompanied by eye-catching yellow accents. There are also cameras instead of conventional rear-view mirrors.
The front features the new illuminated Opel Blitz, while the rear features brake lights with the compass signature along with the striking Opel lettering. At the front is another novelty, the next generation 4D Opel Vizor.
The set rests on 3-zone Ronal wheels with an active function to further increase aerodynamic efficiency. They are covered with tires developed in cooperation with Goodyear made from recycled rubber.
Based on the latest generation Stellantis BEV platform, this prototype is equipped with an electric four-wheel drive system of which no further details have been revealed.
Of course, the Opel Experimental is a crossover and is battery-powered electric, a declaration of intent of Opel’s clear goal of becoming a 100% electric brand from 2028.
The prototype will accompany the six generations of the Opel Corsa at the exhibition, an iconic model manufactured at the Stellantis plant in Figueruelas, of which more than 15 million units have already been sold around the world. From February 1 to 29, the history of the Opel Corsa will be the protagonist in the Puente Pavilion of the Mobility City of Zaragoza.
