Hyundai Creta has achieved one million sales in the Indian car market. Ever since its launch in 2015, the Creta has been an unrivaled performer in the mid-size SUV segment. In recent years, the Hyundai Creta has become an influential model in the SUV market in India.

The fact that one crate is sold in the Indian market every five minutes shows the impact of this vehicle. What sets Creta apart is not being a hit in any one year, but being a superhit in consecutive years. The Creta has been the best selling model in the mid-size SUV segment for eight consecutive years.

The Creta is a model that further demonstrates Hyundai’s commitment to the Make in India initiative. If 10 lakh crates were sold in India, 2.80 lakh crates could be shipped abroad. This achievement of Hyundai Motor India Limited is also a benefit for the automobile manufacturing industry in India. Hyundai has also succeeded in manufacturing and shipping international standard cars from India through Creta.

Hyundai Motors India Limited COO Tarun Garg himself expressed his gratitude to the customers in India who have welcomed the Creta with open arms. Tarun added that ‘Hyundai Creta is a model that has made changes at the international level, with a design suitable for the new generation and features required by technology lovers.’ The Creta’s premium interior, which combines beauty and technology, also provides a great driving experience. The 26.03 semi infotainment screen and 26.03 multi-display digital cluster round off the interior of the Creta.

Creta’s powertrains ensure excellent performance and efficiency. The Creta comes in 1.5 liter MPI petrol, 1.5 liter U2 CRDI diesel and 1.5 liter turbo GDI petrol engines. ISG (Idle Stop and Go) technology also enhances the performance of these powertrains. Three driving modes namely Eco, Normal and Sport. Along with that, three traction control modes such as snow, sand and mud will become a driving experience with the Creta.

Hyundai introduced the third generation Creta in India on January 16. Creta had already made a facelift in the international market. Pictures of the electric model of the Creta doing test runs have also surfaced. Creta EV is priced from Rs 20 lakh onwards. ICE models are priced between 11 lakh and 20.15 lakh.
