Bollywood famous singer Shaan owns a Mercedes Benz EQS EV luxury car. Pictures of Shaan and his family receiving the new car have surfaced on social media. The EQS 580 is the highest priced electric car available in India from German luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz.It offers a range of 857 km on a single charge and is priced at Rs 1.55 crore.
Photos of Shaan and his family receiving the new car were posted on Instagram by Mercedes-Benz distributor Autohanger. “Let Shaun enjoy driving the Mercedes-Benz EQS, a perfect combination of performance and luxury without limits. Autohanger captioned the pictures saying, ‘His future journeys will be more eco-friendly’.
Shan chose blue for his EQS 580EV. Shaan along with his wife Radhika Mukherjee and son Soham Mukherjee went to the dealership to pick up the new car. All three are removing the cover of the new car. The pictures also show Radhika Mukherjee performing some pujas to welcome the new car. Later, the three share the joy by cutting the cake.
Mercedes-Benz EQS 580
The EQS 580 is Mercedes-Benz’s electric car flagship in India. The sedan will be launched in India in September 2022. The EQS 580 also comes with a massive 107.8kWh battery pack at Rs 1.62 crore. It has the largest battery pack in an electric car in the Indian market. The range offered by Mercedes-Benz is 857 km. The vehicle also has a fast charger that can charge from zero to 80 percent in just 31 minutes.
EQS 580 is powered by two electric motors. One is attached to the front axle and the other to the rear axle. This enables the vehicle to have all-wheel drive. Both the motors together will churn out 523hp of power and 856Nm of peak torque. It takes just 4.2 seconds to accelerate from standstill to 100 kmph. The top speed is 210 km per hour. D-Maps, HUD, massage facility in front seats, Boomster 3D sound system, air filtration, MBUX tablet in rear seats, nine airbags, line departure warning, line keeping assist and automatic emergency braking are the list of luxury features.
