Kansas City: One dead in the shooting during the Superbowl Victory Rally in the United States. The shooting occurred during a victory rally for the Kansas City Chiefs who won the Super Bowl championship in Missouri. 21 people including children were injured. The assailants fired into the crowd.
Three people have been taken into police custody in connection with the incident. Of the 12 people taken to Mercy Hospital in Kansas City for treatment, 11 were children, and nine of them suffered gunshot wounds. All the injured are around 17 years old.
Kansas City Fire Department Chief Ross Grandison says eight of the injured are in critical condition. Police said that those taken into custody are being interrogated and the motive behind the attack is not clear.
