New Delhi: Indian student found dead in US. Shreyas Reddy Beniger, a student at the Ohio Linder School of Business, died.
Shreyas is the fourth Indian student to be found dead in the US this year. Authorities have ruled out any foul play or hate crime behind the death. The Indian Consulate in New York expressed deep grief over the death of Shreyas.
“The unfortunate death of Shreyas is deeply saddened. Police are investigating. No foul play is currently suspected in the incident. All necessary assistance will be provided to Shreyas’ family’ – says the Indian Consulate in New York in a note posted on its official X platform.

Shreyas’s parents live in Hyderabad. Indian student Neil Acharya was found dead earlier this week. Neil was a student at Purdue University. Neil went missing on Sunday. Neil’s mother had posted on social media that her son was missing. After this, the body was found from the university campus.
A few days ago, Vivek Seini, a native of Panchagula, Haryana, who was an MBA student, was killed in Georgia. Another student, Akul Dhawan, also died in early January.
