Maruti's Hybrid Revolution: Introducing High-Efficiency Fronx

Maruti hybrid

Maruti comes with a hybrid version of the Fronz. A hybrid model of the Z series engine in the upcoming Swift will also be used in the front. Unlike Toyota’s parallel hybrid, the fronts will feature series hybrid technology. Maruti believes that it will be able to overcome the fatigue of the withdrawal from the diesel market by launching a hybrid engine with high fuel efficiency. This engine is expected to deliver a fuel economy of 35 to 40 kmpl.

Maruti will launch hybrid fronts next year. After the Fronx, the hybrid model of the popular vehicles Baleno and Swift will also be launched. Along with technology, Maruti is trying to make a shocking revolution in mileage. Maruti is investing in CNG, bio-fuel and hybrids without limiting its future plans to electric only, keeping in view the future market possibilities. Suzuki plans to develop new technology without borrowing hybrid technology from Toyota like Grand Vitara and Invicto.

Maruti Suzuki Swift

Maruti is trying to increase fuel efficiency by adding a 1.5-2 kWh battery pack and an electric motor to the Z12E, which will make its debut with the Swift this year. Fongs, Baleno, Spazia-based MPVs and Swift will be launched with this engine. Maruti hopes that these highly fuel efficient cars will create a hybrid wave in the Indian market as an alternative to diesel.
