Suzuki Ertiga Cruise Hybrid
Suzuki Indonesia has launched a mild hybrid model of the popular MPV Ertiga. The vehicle was launched at the Indonesia International Motor Show under the name Ertiga Cruze Hybrid at the International Motor Show held in Jakarta. The Suzuki Ertiga Cruze Hybrid is a model that combines style and efficiency. The key features of this Ertiga are its sporty design and mild hybrid powertrain.
In Indonesia, the manual variant of the Ertiga Hybrid is priced at around Rs 15.3 lakh. Meanwhile, the automatic variant will be priced at Rs 16 lakh. The Ertiga Cruze Hybrid comes in pearl white plus cool black dual tone colors.
The Ertiga Cruze comes in a more sporty form. Notable exterior features include a small antenna, sporty front and rear bumpers, and a rear upper spoiler. The Ertiga Cruze Hybrid does not have the LED DRL found in the regular Ertiga.
The Ertiga Hybrid has a 1.5 liter petrol engine. This engine churns out 103bhp of power and a maximum torque of 138Nm. The engine is mated to the K15B Smart Hybrid powertrain. It also uses a 10Ah lithium-ion battery. With this, the Ertiga Hybrid in Indonesia becomes a more fuel efficient vehicle than the Ertiga in India which is 20 kmpl.
Maruti Suzuki has not yet made an official response regarding the Ertiga Hybrid coming to India. Meanwhile, the company has not ruled out the hybrid potential of the Ertiga. Therefore, the possibility of the Ertiga Hybrid arriving in Indonesia cannot be completely ruled out.
