Dacia Spring 2024

Orders for the new Dacia Spring will open in spring 2024, marketing is planned for summer 2024.

The Dacia Spring 2024 is deeply renewed to gain even more appeal, with a simplicity that becomes more digital and technological. The new 100% electric Dacia benefits from the design of the latest generation of the Dacia Duster from which it takes some features.

This is materialized through the two black stripes at the front and rear. These two stripes are framed by the brand’s emblematic “Y”-shaped light signature, which we find again in a particularly striking way in the low beam headlights and rear position lights, all of which are LED.

For its part, the new Dacia Spring is equipped with 15-inch wheels (standard on the 65 HP versions) that are covered with specific hubcaps. Faithful to the Dacia philosophy, the new Spring continues to offer an intelligent and sustainable design, with side protections for the bottom of the doors, which are light, easy to install, economical and easy to replace.

As in all new Dacias, the chrome decorative pieces have been eliminated and the same goes for the roof bars, generally superfluous in a vehicle that is mainly used for short journeys, whose abandonment allows for weight savings and improved aerodynamics.

Inside, the dashboard has been completely reinvented, with a much more horizontal structure to integrate the new range of digital screens. The Dacia Spring 2024 receives a digital and customizable instrument panel with a 7-inch screen in all versions and a large 10-inch central multimedia screen (integrates connected navigation for 8 years and allows you to control the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functions of wirelessly.

The colors and materials seek to offer a slightly higher quality, but controlling costs. The Dacia “Y”, located in the center of the vent surround outlets, is white (or Copper in the Extreme finish) and the central decorative piece of the dashboard varies depending on the finish: Clay Red in Expression and Lichen Khaki in Extreme.

With 308 liters (6% more than the previous model), its trunk is not bad at all and is close to the level of B segment models. In addition, the additional storage spaces (double glove box, door compartments, etc.) With a total volume of almost 33 liters they are also very practical.

And of course, the new Dacia Spring can incorporate YouClip accessories, a simple and ingenious system that allows you to attach various specific accessories in key places in the passenger compartment: there are 3 YouClip attachment points (one on the dashboard and two on the center console).

They can receive a storage case, a smartphone stand with or without an induction charger, or a nifty “3-in-1” device that combines a cup holder, a bag hook, and a portable lamp.

And at the level of technology and assistants, it points out the new driving aids: assisted emergency braking system with detection of vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists and motorcycles, recognition of traffic signs with overspeed alert, rear parking assistance, emergency stop signal, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, driver attention monitoring system and emergency call (eCall).

Are we talking about engines? The new Dacia Spring 2024 continues to offer the same two electric motors as until now, 45 and 65 HP. Do they seem few to you? It all makes sense: with 984 kg curb weight in the top Extreme trim, it is the only 100% electric vehicle in Europe that remains under one ton.

This result in the balance added to the efficiency of the engine allows the new Spring to offer an excellent WLTP consumption of 14.5 kWh/100 km and thanks to that, and its 26.8 kWh battery, the autonomy goes up to 220 km (enough for your daily urban trips in the city).

In terms of charging, it comes standard with a 7 kW AC charger that allows you to charge the battery from 20 to 100% from a home outlet in less than 11 hours, or in 4 hours in a 7 kW wall box. . A 30kW DC charger is available as an option for fast charging from 20% to 80% in 45 minutes.

And one last detail, more practical than ever, the new Dacia Spring offers for the first time a bidirectional V2L (vehicle to load) charging capacity that allows it to be used as an energy source to power electrical appliances. A specific adapter that plugs into the vehicle’s charging connector, located under the grille, provides a traditional 220V/16A socket.
