Since parent company Meta launched Meta AI, Instagram has been experimenting with artificial intelligence (AI) features in the app. Now, reports have surfaced that the popular image-sharing platform is working on an ‘AI message-writing’ feature.
It is said to allow users to rewrite, paraphrase and make stylistic changes to messages sent through Instagram Direct Messages (DMs). Similarly, captions for images and videos can also be written using AI.
Mobile developer Alessandro Paluzzi said in a post shared on X yesterday that Instagram is working on developing a feature to write with AI. He also shared its screenshot. It was a screenshot of the ‘Write with AI’ option appearing when trying to send a message to someone. Paluzzi also says that this feature allows you to write messages in different ways.
Meanwhile, Meta’s newest social media platform, Threads, has begun testing a new post saving feature that will allow users to bookmark posts for later on-demand viewing.
