London: Houthi missile attack on British oil tanker. BBC reports that the oil tanker has been burnt. The Houthis launched a missile attack on the Marlin Luanda oil tanker in the Gulf of Aden.
Ship officials have also confirmed the missile attack. The US said it had received a signal from the ship about the attack. Sources said. But the US said no one was injured. The report quoted the official as saying. The UKMT said the attack took place 60 nautical miles south-east of Aden. O. (UK Maritime Trade Operations) informed.
The warship has returned to the area and is doing everything necessary to put out the fire, the BBC reports, citing ship officials.
