OPTIMUS ROBOT
Many raised eyebrows when billionaire Elon Musk came up with a new humanoid robot claiming to be capable of performing human-like tasks. Because no one has ever seen robots with even a little bit of flexibility except in the movies. According to Tesla’s website, this humanoid robot is being developed to replace humans in dangerous situations.
Company CEO Elon Musk often shares videos of the Optimus robot prototype performing various tasks. Previously, Musk brought the Optimus robot in front of people by putting eggs in the egg boiler without breaking them by hand and dancing. Now he’s back with a video of Optimus doing another job. This time he posted a video of him folding his shirt on X.
The robot is carefully folding the t-shirt on the table. But Optimus does it very slowly. Elon Musk captioned the video, “He can fold clothes faster than this.” Similarly, Musk points out that the robot does not fold cloth on its own, but only follows instructions. However, Musk says that robots will soon be able to do all these things by themselves.
Training is in progress to speed up the robot’s arm and leg movements and more. Similarly, the development of software that enables the robot’s balance, trajectory determination, interaction with the outside world, and recognition is also underway.
