A theater experience with great sound and a really big screen anywhere! Or what if you could do editing, coding, browsing, or a hundred thousand other things on a 100-foot screen? Apple has released a video explaining how the experience of the mixed reality headset called Vision Pro (Apple Vision Pro) will be.
Even wearing Vision Pro, you can still see people around you. Similarly, the video begins by showing that the person in front can see our eyes.
When the special computing experience starts, the visuals appear as if a projector were placed in front of it. The difference with a projector is the complete control over the visuals in front of us. When we watch a video or a panoramic image, we feel like the place is standing around us.
Menu navigation, pinching and scrolling can be done with eye and hand movements. Vision Pro’s built-in audio pods deliver a 360-degree sound experience. Another feature is the Personas system. When receiving a FaceTime call from another Vision Pro user, their video feed is transformed into a simulated 3D avatar that reflects their live facial expressions and gestures.
The price of the Pro will be officially launched on February 2 with 256GB storage and will start at $3499 (roughly Rs. 2.90 lakh). Apple Vision Pro packaging includes battery pack, face seal, seal cushion, front cover, optional adjustable upper headband, 30W USB C adapter with USB C charging cable, and polishing cloth.
Will it be launched in India?
Apple still hasn’t announced the official launch date of the headset in India. Some of the first places outside the US where it might be launched are the UK, Canada and China, experts say. India may also join this list soon. It is important to note that this is an experimental product by Apple, so they are testing it in a few countries first before releasing it everywhere.

100 feet screen in front of your face! It includes TV programs, 3D movies and iOS, iPadOS and macOS app experiences. An augmented reality screen will appear above the location wherever it is. No sense of space is lost. Instead of the iPhone’s one pixel, the Vision Pro will have 64 pixels. Micro OLED panel will provide high resolution in 4K for both eyes.
Customization and fitting
It is reported that an appointment is required for customization to fit one’s head. Have everyone sit in the store and adjust the light ceiling to prevent outside light from entering while using the Vision Pro.
