Hyundai’s new Creta was launched on January 16. The makers have informed that the booking which started weeks before this has reached 25,000. According to Hyundai’s report, there is a high demand for the petrol engine and automatic transmission version of this vehicle, which is available in two petrol and one diesel engine options.
55 percent of the new Creta’s bookings so far are for the petrol engine model. Out of this, 40 percent people have chosen the automatic transmission version. Diesel models are also getting great acceptance in the market. Diesel models have received 45 percent of the bookings. SUV in India in 2024 Hyundai is targeting 65 percent market share.
Compared to the previous model, the price of the new version has been increased by Rs 13,000 to Rs 80,000 depending on the variants. While the price of the previous model of Creta started at Rs 10.87 lakh, the ex-showroom price of the new model ranges from Rs 10.99 lakh to Rs 19.99 lakh. 19 variants of Creta have arrived on the basis of engine and transmission.
